why do people post personal ads? do they know the dangers of what kind of person would answer? or does the person who replies ever think they will be screwed over in some way? i see on tv all the time that people answer and post personal ads and get killed… it seems so risky. are they just very desperate and lonely?
for those who use personal ads, or have used them (or internet sites) what is it like to tell your parents thats how you met or will meet someone? is it hard to know you can trust this person or do you go right into it? It seems so bizarre to me. i am watching the news right now, and someone was killed by one who answered their personal ad… it just brings so many questions to my mind…

I met this guy off of one of the online dating services, everything has been good so far…but he is currently going through a divorce for the second time (he 40 and i’m 26), I dont have a problem with the age difference because i have always dated older men. my problem is he’s been hurt not once but twice so now it hard for him to open up and trust…. I’m currently at the point of giving up, not only because of his emotionally rollercoaster, but he like to make promises but never fulfills them..what do you think this is a case of?
